Dumpster or construction debris removal?

For a months-long renovation, a roll-off dumpster makes sense: debris goes in as it's produced. For most homeowner projects, though, the debris shows up all at once, after the tear-out or at the end. Then a dumpster means days of a steel box on your driveway, loading it yourself, and staying under its weight limit.

Junk removal is one visit. We carry the debris out of the house or garage, load it and leave. Nothing sits on the driveway and nobody on your end is lifting drywall.

Construction debris removal FAQ

Why won't my trash service take remodeling debris?

Residential trash contracts are written for household waste, and almost every community around Novi excludes construction and remodeling materials. Commerce Township, Farmington Hills, Plymouth, Birmingham and Northville all list construction debris, concrete or building materials among the things the regular hauler won't collect.

Is a dumpster cheaper than junk removal?

It depends on the job. A dumpster makes sense for a long project where debris is produced over weeks. For a one-time cleanup, like the pile left after a kitchen tear-out, junk removal is often simpler: nothing sits on your driveway, and we do the loading.

Do you take concrete, brick or tile?

Heavy materials depend on the amount, because weight matters as much as volume. Describe it in the form with a photo and we'll tell you what we can take and how it affects the price.

Do I have to bag or bundle the debris?

No. Loose piles are fine, and so are bags or bundles if you've already started. Just keep nails and sharp edges in mind if you're moving things around before we arrive.

What about old paint, stains and adhesives?

Liquid paint, solvents and chemicals are hazardous waste and can't go in the load. Use your community's household hazardous waste program for those.
