Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information Junk Removal Oakland MI ("we", "us") collects through this website (junkremovaloaklandmi.com), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By submitting a quote request, you agree to the practices described here.
How our service works
When you request a quote, we review your request and connect you with an independent, local junk removal professional in our network who serves your area. That professional contacts you, confirms the details and price, and performs the pickup. To make that possible, we share the information in your request with them, as described below.
Information we collect
We collect only what you send us through the quote form or by email:
- Contact details: your first and last name, phone number and email address
- Job details: the address for the pickup, what needs to be removed, the approximate amount, the type of service and any additional details you add
- Photos you choose to upload
- The page of the site you sent the form from
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To review your request and match it with a junk removal professional who serves your area
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message or email
- To follow up on the quote or the job and handle questions or complaints
- To keep basic records of requests, and to protect this website against spam and abuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send you unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
- Junk removal professionals in our network. We share your contact details, job details and photos with the independent local professional assigned to your request, so they can quote and perform the service. They are separate businesses, may only use your information to handle your request, and are responsible for how they handle it once they receive it.
- Service providers that host this website and our email, only as needed to run them.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
Phone calls and text messages
By submitting the quote form, you agree that we and the junk removal professional handling your request may contact you about that request at the phone number and email you provide, including by call or text message. Message and data rates may apply. We will not use your number for unrelated marketing. To stop text messages, reply STOP; you can also ask us not to contact you by emailing us.
How it's stored
Quote requests are delivered to our business email, and a backup copy is kept on our web hosting account, outside the public website. We use reasonable measures to protect this information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit; Google's own privacy policy applies to that connection. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests only as long as needed to handle the request, follow up on the job and maintain normal business records, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@junkremovaloaklandmi.com. If your request has already been shared with a junk removal professional, we will pass your deletion request on to them.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of this page.
